STUNTING PREVENTION IN CHILDREN IN ACHIEVING THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) IN JAYA BAKTI VILLAGE AND LAMBANGAN VILLAGEHartono Hadjarati, Suprianto Kadir, Yoyanda Bait

 

Abstract

All health issues in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are integrated into one goal, namely goal number 3, which is to ensure a healthy life and encourage welfare for everyone at all ages. One of the important problems in the health sector is stunting in children. Stunting is the main threat to human quality, as well as a threat to the nation's competitiveness. The novelty of this service is to provide additional information about stunting in children in achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Jaya Bakti Village and Lambangan Village, Pagimana District. The purpose of this service activity is to carry out counseling integrated with the Thematic KKN activities of The Village Building in Lambangan Village and Jaya Bakti, Pagimana District.The activity lasted for 40 days. stunting prevention counseling is carried out in 4 stages, namely licensing, socialization, implementation of counseling and evaluation. The licensing stage is carried out by contacting the village head and other village officials. The results of the activity in the form of socialization were carried out to the target of counseling, namely posyandu cadres and the general public as many as 50 people. Phase 2 counseling was carried out to Posyandu cadres located at the Posyandu in Lambangan village and 75 people from house to house counseling in Jaya Bakti village. The program evaluation stage was to see the enthusiasm of the counseling participants, namely by the many questions. In addition, the success of this program was published in the mass media in Pagimana District. Conclusion Community outreach and empowerment activities can prevent stunting in children.

EVALUATION OF THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF A KARATE ATHLETES

ABSTRACTThis study aims to evaluate the components of the physical condition of the Karate athletes of the Gorontalo Province Student Education and Training Center (PPLP) in 2021. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. Sampling using total sampling technique. The sample in question is the PPLP Gorontalo Province Karate athlete in 2021, totaling 13 people consisting of 5 women and 8 sons. The data collection instruments used were in the form of tests and measurements which included: 1) VO2Max using the Multistage Fitness Test (Bleep Test); 2) Arm muscle strength using push ups for 30 seconds; 3) Strength of abdominal muscles using 30 second sit ups; 4) Reaction speed using the beem tool 5) Agility using the shuttle run; 6) Power leg muscles using a standing board jump; and 7) Flexibility using sit and reach. The data analysis technique used the mean and percentage category. The results obtained are the average VO2Max value of male and female athletes in the "Good" category. The arm muscle strength of male and female athletes is still in the "Enough" category. The abdominal muscle strength of male athletes was on average in the "Good" category and female athletes in the "Enough" category. The reaction speed of male athletes is in the "Very Good" category while female athletes are in the "Good" category. The agility component of male and female athletes is in the "Good" category. Components of leg muscle power for male and female athletes in the "Excellent" category. The flexibility of male athletes in the "Good" category and female athletes in the "Excellent" category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kemampuan maksimal oksigen (VO2Max) mahasiswa Prodi Ilmu keolahragaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Sampel dari penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa semeseter 4 Prodi Ilmu keolahragaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo yang berjumlah 16 orang yang merupakan seluruh populasi dari mahasiswa Prodi Ilmu keolahragaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan multistage fitness test. Hasilnya, mahasiswa Prodi Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo adalah 26,95. Dimana kategori bagus 1 orang atau 6.25% cukup 5 orang atau 31.25%, sedangkan kategori kurang 2 orang atau 12.5% dan kategori kurang sekali sebanyak 8 orang atau 50%.

FOREHAND STROKE SKILLS LEVEL OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TABLE TENNIS EXTRACURRICULAR PARTICIPANTS

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the forehand skill level of the table tennis extracurricular participants at 18 Limboto Elementary School, Gorontalo Province. The population in this study found 12 students. Research subjects were taken from the total population. The research instrument using the forehand stroke test in table tennis was measured by the Backboard Test from Mott & Lockhart. The analysis of this study uses the Norm Reference Assessment (PAN) on a scale of five score categories (very good, good, poor, very poor) and then determines the relative frequency for each category. The result, very good category 8.33%, good 25%, quite 33.33%, less 25%, very poor 8.33%. In the future, coaches need additional training programs that can improve their forehand skills.

Pengaruh Latihan Smash tanpa Bola dan Latihan Smash Bola Diam terhadap Kemampuan Smash Bolavoli

Abstract

This research is a field experimental study that aims to find out the difference between the effects of non-ball smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises on the ability of volleyball smash on students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. The population and sample involved in this study were 60 students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. However, in accordance with the research design, two research groups were formed which consisted of ball-free smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises. The research was carried out for six weeks with frequency of exercise 3 times a week. Based on the results of data analysis using the paired t-test formula and the unpaired ttest at a significant level of 95%, it can be concluded as follows: There is a significant effect of smash training without the ball on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,869> tt = 2,045 ). There is a significant effect of the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 13,535> tt = 2,045). There is a significant difference in the effect between the smash ball practice without the ball and the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,259> tt = 2,000)
