Optimasi Trim Loss menggunakan Integer Linear Programming pada Cutting Stock Problem untuk Industri Meubel
Every human being needs a beautiful layout for the house, such as cabinets, chairs, tables, etc. are called furniture. Furniture is a term used for household furniture that functions as a seat, bed, a place to store goods, a place to work such as a table, and a place to put things. The furniture itself is produced by the furniture industry. In the furniture industry, the problem that is often faced is regarding the remaining raw materials used. The problem of remaining raw materials exists in every material cutting production process because the demand for raw materials for each production is different. Losses arising from suboptimal cutting are called trim losses. Trim loss can be minimized by using the Cutting Stock Problem (CSP) method with the Integer Linear Programming (ILP) approach with the help of LINGO 11.0 software. The results obtained are optimum because the cutting of the remaining raw material is a minimum.

Penerapan Model Integer Linear Programming pada Penjadwalan Petugas Satuan Pengamanan
Security unit scheduling is one of the problems that often arises in a security management system. Likewise, security management of the security unit at the Gorontalo State University. Proper security unit scheduling is needed to avoid fatigue for officers, both physical and psychological which can reduce the performance of officers. In this study, the security unit scheduling problem is modeled as Integer Linear Programming (ILP) with an objective linear function, a Linear constraint function and variables in the form of Integer numbers. In solving this scheduling problem, it will be resolved with the help of LINGO 11.0 software. The objective function of this model is to maximize the working days of security unit officers in one scheduling period with 3 shifts.
Penerapan Model Integer Linear Programming dalam Optimasi Penjadwalan Perkuliahan Secara Otomatis
Lectures scheduling is a difficult administrative task for universities. This happens because in lectures scheduling must combine the number of courses, approve the room, day and period, as well as teaching lecturers. The purpose of this article is to create an optimization model for courses scheduling using integer linear programming to minimize the level of dissatisfaction between lecturers and students. This model is applied to making a schedule in the Mathematics Study Program at Gorontalo State University. In this research, data and information collected about the scheduling of lectures as a basis for making models. There are 55 study groups scheduled in 4 rooms, 5 days and 12 time periods. Furthermore, the scheduling optimization model is made in the form of integer linear programming and is solved by LINGO 18.0 software. The result obtained from this study is a lecture schedule that is free of conflict. Lectures scheduling produced meets the requirements and requests for lecturers and students in the Mathematics Study Program. In addition, the resulting model can help the time needed to do the scheduling.
